Are your house plans compatible for this part of the world
with our snow loads and possible seismic activity?
Most areas are dictated by local codes. Your builder or local authorities
will have that information. The rafters may have to be bigger in your area
and you may need earthquake reinforcement on your wall studs but a builder
can take care of that. You also can bring the plans to a local engineer who
can mark up the changes generally for a nominal fee.
I have enjoyed your site and am interested in a couple of plans, but I don't
understand the veneer square footage (S.F.). Is this the same as living space
on some plans or is it the total slab S.F.?
Our veneer square footage (S.F.) is the heated and cooled square feet area
around the brick exterior of the house. Without brick the heated and cooled
area would about 4% smaller.
I was wondering if you would know the approximate cost of having a home built?
Each location will have different price structures for housing. In order to
get an accurate price you need to go to a builder, give him a detailed list
of what you want in your house, then he can give you a price that reflects
your area at that time. Anything else is a guess.
Do your drawings include a material list?
We can give you a standard specification list. The material list is figured
by the builder. He needs specific information from the home buyer. All subcontracters
provide the builder with detailed list of materials.
I really like the house plan for model # 5442, however I was wondering if
this design could be modified to include a basement underneath?
Answer: We can adjust most plans to include a
staircase for a basement and draw a basement foundation plan.

I tried to place an order but then I end up on PayPal's website. It didn't seem to show the order information. Am I doing something wrong?
Answer: Normally, the website goes straight to Paypal with the Order on screen. Sometimes
Paypal ends up wanting you to log in first. If you get that screen, just go BACK to our website page and submit the order again.
Usually then it will show the order in Paypal. If you get really stuck, please email or call for help.
