Colonial House Plans
Colonial house plans with normally have large columns adorning a rectangular two story home. You will find that the entrance will usually be accented by two massive columns that will extend up into the second story. The roof over the entrance area is usually either hipped or will sometimes have one gable. Typically you will think of a Colonial style house plan with a good sized porch; however certain styles such as Federal or Georgian do not have a porch.
